Over 50 Americans were killed in Las Vegas. What caused the gunman to kill so many people is up to debate and investigation.
Las Vegas, of course, is a gambling town and Nevada is, of course, a cowboy state, meaning Republican. And being a Republican state, Nevada has one of the most relaxed gun laws in America (Las Vegas shooting: Nevada has some of the most relaxed gun laws in America).
The following is a study published in Science Daily (source):
Men who gamble are more likely to act violently towards others, with the most addicted gamblers the most prone to serious violence. A new study found that gambling in any capacity — pathological, problem, or so-called casual gambling — related to significantly increased risk of violence, including domestic abuse.
With this fact, should Nevada security be better and should not the gun law be more restricted?
