Photo Of Mitch McConnell In Front Of Confederate Flag Goes Viral After Twitter Shame

The Resistance Reports

March 8, 2917

The Kentucky Democratic Party has unearthed a compromising photo of Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell, and they have not been hesitant to share it with as many people as possible. Mitch just made statements deemed “White Male Supremacist” towards Elizabeth Warren in a Congressional hearing to confirm Trump’s appointment of Sessions, a well know and widely accepted Racist.

The Kentucky Democratic Party has plenty of reasons to be upset with Senator McConnell, but why are they tweeting this photo to Senator Warren? It has to do with McConnell’s silencing of Warren during the debate on the confirmation of Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, Donald Trump’s nominee for attorney general.

During the debate, Warren attempted to read a letter written about Sessions that Coretta Scott King — the widow of Martin Luther King, Jr. — had written in 1986. As a result, Warren was accused of violating Rule 19 of the standing rules of the Senate. The rule says that senators may not “directly or indirectly, by any form of words impute to another Senator or to other Senators any conduct or motive unworthy or unbecoming a Senator.”

McConnell claimed that, by reading the letter, Warren had “impugned the motives and conduct of our colleague from Alabama.”

After Warren continued to speak out against Sessions, McConnell and other Republican senators voted to cut her off.

In silencing Warren for violating the rarely enforced rule, McConnell and those who voted with him barred her from speaking on the Senate floor for the remainder of the debate on Sessions’ nomination. Sessions was confirmed as the new Attorney General on Wednesday night.

Naturally, McConnell’s actions against Warren have not been taken well. Hashtags like #LetLizSpeak, which the Kentucky Democrats used in their tweet, have taken over social media, and many people — including Hillary Clinton — have even turned McConnell’s statement about Warren into an important feminist message.

Speaking about Warren, McConnell said:

‘She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted.’

It seems safe to say that McConnell did not plan on his words being turned into a feminist battle cry, but that is exactly what happened. It also seems safe to say that McConnell probably did not want the picture the Kentucky Democrats unearthed floating around the internet. But it is making the rounds rather rapidly — so rapidly, in fact, that the Kentucky Democrats are now trending in Philadelphia and Seattle.

The following are some views on the Confederate Flag, but generally it means the continuing of Southern America, as it was before the Civil War, which was about the Slavery, which in tern is about Racism. The flag is used by the KKK, an extremist Racist group today, as the symbol for their movement.

Trump has a history of deeply involved with racism, i.e his father went to KKK gathering and the Trump business was involved in racist practices before sued by the government. Trump also has a history of defending the KKK, for example, early in the 2016 American election, when a former head of KKK, David Duke, came out to voice strong support, Trump did not reject the support & defended David Duke, for months, until the criticism became very vocal, then Trump distanced himself from David Duke.

Concerning Mitch, his relationship with the KKK is similar to Trump, meaning no problem with the relationship, if it is hidden and little criticism made. Mitch has a reputation in Congress of being the staunchest supporter of Trump, with only once in a great while would take Trump on directly, most of these are on issues of international relations, as related to national security.
